Publication

Featuring texts, documentary material, and illustrations, the publication – which takes the form of an «Album» – is both text and picture book. The handy brochure provides an impetus to apply the methods of heightening awareness of the in-between developed by the project team. The backbone of the publication consists of nine situations that structure the living environment and facilitate analysis on location.

The itineraries field-tested by the team are configured as a travel guide, and invites users to conduct similar explorations of other locales. The photographic plates bring out their visual poetry. And a poster with a hidden object game will attempt young and old to discover or seek out their personal in-betweens.

Audience

In the end, all of these insights and perceptions will hopefully become useful to residents, and the publication is therefore conceived primarily for them. At the same time, it is addressed to decision-makers: investors, property owners, and property administration agencies, to architects and planners, landscapers, caretakers, and tenant initiatives. It can be used in training and continuing education. It would be a welcome addition to any private library, and belongs in every common room. An ideal gift, and not only for the neighbors!
